THE REAL ROOMS — OPTION 01

THE FORMAT

What a real escape room is.

A real escape room is a physical room you are locked inside for sixty minutes, with a story, a set built for it, and a chain of puzzles that opens the door. No headset, no screen, no app. You search the room with your hands: lift the lid, read the note, count the symbols, turn the key. Everything you need is in the room with you.

All three of ours are at #03-149 Marina Square and every one was designed and built by our own team — sets, props, locks and puzzles. That is the part most operators outsource to a franchise kit, and it is the reason no two of our rooms feel alike.

THE HOUR

How the sixty minutes runs.

The same shape every time, whichever room you take.

  1. Arrive fifteen minutes early

Come to #03-149 Marina Square about fifteen minutes before your slot. Everyone signs a short waiver at the counter — it takes a minute, and it is the only paperwork.

  2. The briefing

Your game master walks you through the storyline, the rules and how to ask for a hint. Two minutes, no jargon. Then the door closes.

  3. Sixty minutes on the clock

The timer is on the wall and it does not stop. Search everything, say what you find out loud, and hand a puzzle over the moment you are stuck on it — that is the single habit that gets teams out.

  4. Hints when you want them

A game master watches the whole hour. Ask and you get a nudge, not the answer. Nobody has ever been left staring at a lock for twenty minutes out of principle.

  5. The photo

Out or not out, you get a photo at the end. Budget about ninety minutes at the venue in total.

THE QUESTIONS

Questions before you pick a room.

Is there a horror escape room in Singapore here?

One of the three. Bearsident Evil is the horror room — dark, loud, and built around an outbreak that has already happened. It is atmosphere and pressure rather than gore, and there are no live actors grabbing you in the dark.

Is there a non-scary escape room for people who hate horror?

Two of the three. Bearry Potter and the FireStorm Guardian and Alice in Bearryland have no horror content at all — no jump scares, no darkness, no gore. Say the word when you book and we will point you at one of them.

Can two people do an escape room in Singapore?

Yes. Every one of our escape rooms runs from 2 players up to 8, and a pair gets the room to themselves like any other group. Two people take longer on the searching, so expect to use a hint or two — that is normal and it does not cost you anything.

Can kids play an escape room?

We recommend 13 and up for the escape rooms. Under-13s are welcome with an adult in the group. For a younger group, Lava Floor runs on the same floor and takes ages 6 and up.

How hard are the rooms?

All three sit at 4 out of 5. That is hard enough to be worth the hour and forgiving enough that a first-time group gets a real shot at it, especially with hints.

What should we bring, and what should we wear?

Nothing to bring, and anything you can move in — you will be crouching, reaching and searching for an hour. Get to the counter about fifteen minutes before your slot so everyone has time to sign the waiver.

Everything else — prices, hours, parking, group sizes — is on the escape room FAQ, and every game’s specs sit side by side on the all-games page.

THE OTHER FORMAT

Try a VR escape room instead.

If your group would rather play without a physical set, three VR escape games run on the same floor at Marina Square — 2 to 4 players, headsets provided.

THE CORPORATE BOOKING

Plan corporate team building in these rooms.

Three rooms run side by side, so 24 people can be playing at the same time in three separate groups against the same clock. That is the setup most companies take for a half-day — and we plan the rotation around your headcount.
