THE GAMES — MARINA SQUARE

Six games. One floor.

Three real escape rooms and three VR escape games, all sixty minutes, all at #03-149 Marina Square. Read the briefings below, then pick the one your group will argue about on the way home.

THE PIONEER ESCAPE ROOM IN SINGAPORE

We've been building these since 2013.

Lockdown was one of the first escape room operators in Singapore, and we still design and build every room in-house — sets, props, puzzles, the lot. The same team also builds custom games for brands and runs Lava Floor and the free-roam VR floor too. Nothing here is a franchise kit bought off a shelf.

THE REAL ROOMS — OPTION 01

Real escape rooms.

Real sets, real locks, real props. Sixty minutes, 2 to 8 players, and the room is private to your group — you'll never be paired with strangers.

60 minutes · 2–8 players · difficulty 4/5 · from $24 per person

THE VR FLOOR — OPTION 02

VR escape games.

Same sixty minutes, no physical set — you're inside it. A harder puzzle load than the real rooms. Headsets and a briefing are included; nobody needs to have used VR before.

60 minutes · 2–4 players · difficulty 5/5 · headsets provided

THE GUIDE

How to pick.

The honest version, from the people who watch groups play these every day.

First time in an escape room

Take Bearry Potter or Alice in Bearryland. Both real rooms, both forgiving on the first ten minutes, and there's a game master watching who'll nudge you if you stall.

Big group, mixed ages

Every game takes up to 8. If your group's bigger than that, we'll split you across two games running at the same time — ask when you book.

You've done a few before

Go VR. All three run at 5/5 and the puzzle density is higher than the rooms, because we're not limited by what fits in a physical space.

Easily spooked

Bearsident Evil and Circus of the Dead lean horror — dark, loud, jump moments. Bearry Potter, Alice in Bearryland and Forgotten Temple don't.

Bringing kids

We recommend 13 and up for the rooms and VR. Younger group? Lava Floor is on the same floor, takes ages 6 and up, and runs 25 minutes from $13.

Company offsite

Book the whole floor. Rotate teams through rooms, VR and Lava Floor in one afternoon — that's the setup most corporate groups end up taking.

THE QUESTIONS

Before you pick.

How many people can play one game?

The real escape rooms take 2 to 8 players; the VR games take 2 to 4. If your group is bigger, we run games side by side at the same time and split you across them.

Will we be put in a room with strangers?

No. Every game is private to your group. You book the room, you get the room.

How difficult are the games?

The real rooms sit at 4 out of 5. The VR games are 5 out of 5 — the puzzle load is heavier because a virtual set isn't limited by what fits in a real room. A game master watches every session and will give you a hint if you're stuck.

Do we need any VR experience?

None. Headsets are provided and we run a short briefing before the clock starts. If someone in the group would rather not wear a headset, the real rooms are the better pick.

How long does a game take?

Sixty minutes on the clock. Budget about ninety in total — arrive fifteen minutes early for the briefing and waiver, and allow time afterwards for the photo.

What does it cost?

From $24 per person on weekdays and $30 on weekends and public holidays, for any of the six games. Lava Floor is separate, from $13.

Is there an age limit?

We recommend 13 and up for the escape rooms and VR games. Under-13s can play with an adult in the group. Lava Floor takes ages 6 and up.

Where are you and how do we get there?

Marina Square, 6 Raffles Boulevard #03-149, Singapore 039594 — about two minutes' walk from Esplanade MRT, and we're open daily from 12 noon to 9pm.
