THE BRIEFING
Frequently asked questions.
How much does an escape room cost per person in Singapore?
An escape room at Lockdown costs from $24 a person on weekdays and $30 a person on weekends and public holidays, for a 60-minute game. The rate is the same for any of the six games — three real escape rooms and three VR escape games. Lava Floor is priced separately, from $13 on weekdays and $17 on weekends and public holidays.
Is there a cheaper time to play?
Weekdays. A weekday slot is $24 a person against $30 on weekends and public holidays — same game, same sixty minutes, same game master watching. If you are booking to a budget, book Monday to Friday.
Where is Lockdown Escape, and how do we get there?
Lockdown Escape is at Marina Square — 6 Raffles Boulevard, #03-149, Singapore 039594. The nearest MRT is Esplanade, about two minutes' walk, and Suntec City is walkable from the door.
What are your opening hours?
Open daily from 12 noon to 9pm, weekends and public holidays included. Available slots show in the booking system, so whatever you can select there is a time we can run.
Is there an age limit, and is it kid-friendly?
The escape rooms and VR games are recommended for ages 13 and up, and under-13s are welcome with an adult in the group. For a younger group, Lava Floor runs on the same floor from age 6, with parental supervision required for players under 13.
How many people can play at once?
Each escape room takes 2 to 8 players and each VR game takes 2 to 4. Our three escape rooms and the VR space run at the same time, and bigger groups rotate through Lava Floor too — half play escape rooms while half play Lava Floor, then swap. Tell us your headcount and we'll plan the session around it.
Can two people do an escape room?
Yes. Every game runs from two players up, and a pair gets the room to themselves like any other group. Two people take longer on the searching, so expect to take a hint or two — the game master offers them before you stall out, and they cost nothing.
Will we be put in a room with strangers?
No. Every game at Lockdown is private to your group. You book the room, you get the room.
How do I book an escape room in Singapore?
Retail bookings go through our online booking engine — pick a game, pick a slot, pay, done. For corporate events, email contactus@lockdown.sg and we'll plan the session with you.
Are the escape rooms scary?
Two of the six lean horror: Bearsident Evil and Circus of the Dead are dark and loud, with jump moments. Bearry Potter, Alice in Bearryland and Forgotten Temple have no horror content at all. Our games run on mystery and adrenaline rather than gore, and there are no live actors grabbing you in the dark — the pressure comes from the clock.
What should I wear?
Anything you can move in. Lava Floor requires covered shoes — leave the heels, slippers and Crocs at home.
Do I need to sign anything?
Every player completes a short waiver at the counter when you arrive. It only takes a minute — just get there about fifteen minutes before your slot.
